Indian Weave Overseas

This place in Jamia Nagar is where Indian Weave Overseas operates from. We are tucked away in Abul Fazal Enclave, specifically at H-13. If you know Azad Road, we’re right there in that Okhla area. It gets pretty crowded around here during the day, which makes deliveries a bit of a headache sometimes. We focus on weaving and textiles. There’s always rolls of fabric sitting around and the sound of machines or just people talking over tea. It’s not a corporate office. It’s more like a busy house turned into a business. We’ve been in this part of Okhla for a good bit of time. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re too busy with orders to worry about that right now. Most of our work goes out to different places, but the heart of it is right here in this enclave. My brother handles most of the logistics while I stay on top of what’s being made. We don't have a big fancy entrance. You just walk in and see what we’re working on. It’s noisy and there’s always something happening. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out, but that’s just life in this part of town. We just keep at it, making sure the weaves are right and the boxes are packed. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours, but it’s what we do for a living here.
