Inderjit Maitra Associates

Our place is on the 4th floor over at Rz 2802 32 in Tughlakabad Extn. Climbing those stairs every morning really wakes you up, though some days we wish there was a lift that worked better. Inderjit Maitra Associates has been based here in New Delhi 110019 for quite a while. The view from the window is mostly other rooftops and some hanging wires, but it feels like home to us now. The office is small and gets a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once. We have a lot of books and folders stacked up because there never seems to be enough shelf space. It gets a bit hot in the summer, so the fan is always running on high. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just a small one so people don't get lost in the extension. Working here means you get to know the delivery guys and the people in the shop downstairs. We try to stay on top of the work, but sometimes things take longer than we want. We don't promise things we can't do. If a job is going to take a week, we say it will take a week. Most people appreciate that we don't try to sugarcoat things. It's just a small team of us trying to make a living and do right by the people who walk up those four flights.
