We are set up in the Okhla Industrial Area, specifically in Phase II at S-21. It’s a busy industrial zone, so there are always trucks and people moving around outside. Our office handles a lot of different things related to publishing and media. It’s a functional space, mostly just open desks and a few small rooms for meetings. We have been in Okhla for a good while now. The building is simple and doesn't have any big signs on it. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of typing and people talking on the phone with printers and advertisers. We put together various magazines and reports, so there is always a lot of paper around. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait for the generator to kick in. It’s a practical place to work. We don't have any fancy lounges or anything like that. Just a small kitchen area where we keep the kettle and some biscuits. Lunch is usually brought from home or bought from one of the local stalls nearby. The traffic getting into Phase II can be a real headache in the mornings, so most of us try to get in early. It’s a solid, working-class vibe in this neighborhood. We focus on getting the issues out on time. It is a lot of coordination between the writers and the production team, and we do it all right from this spot in Delhi. We have a couple of old fans that rattle a bit when they are on.
