Lajpat Nagar 4 is a busy spot, and we are right there in C 26, Dayanand Colony. New Delhi 110024 is always full of shoppers and people going about their business. Our branch is a bit of a refuge from the crowded market streets outside. It’s not a big corporate headquarters, just a local office on the ground floor. We have a couple of desks and a small area for people to wait. The floor tiles are a bit worn down from all the people walking in over the years. We spend our days processing checks and helping people with their passbooks. There’s no fancy marketing talk here. We just explain things as they are. Sometimes the printer jams right when there’s a long line, and we all just have to be patient. We know the local vendors who come in to deposit their daily earnings. It’s a friendly enough place, though we are usually too busy to chat for long. The curtains are a bit dusty and the lightbulbs are a mix of different colors. It’s a very real, very normal office. We don't pretend to be anything we aren't. We just provide a place in Dayanand Colony where you can take care of your money without any drama. It’s practical, slightly cluttered, and always busy, just like the rest of the neighborhood around us.
