We are located over in East of Kailash at 11A Sfs Flats in B Block. This part of New Delhi is always moving and the noise from the street usually finds its way inside but we have gotten used to the sounds by now. Working from an SFS flat gives the whole office a very grounded and local feel. It is not your typical high-rise setup with fancy elevators. We have our computers lined up and the wires are a bit of a mess under the desks but the whole system functions just fine. Ibm India Pvt Ltd uses this space to stay on top of local operations and we spend most of our time on calls or typing away at the keyboards. The light coming into the flat is actually pretty good in the mornings which helps with the mood. There is a small park nearby where some of us walk during the lunch break just to stretch our legs and get some air. You won't find any glossy brochures or sales pitches here. We are just the people behind the scenes doing the technical work that nobody really sees. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power fluctuates but that is just part of life in this area. We take it as it comes and keep going. It is a very straightforward environment where the focus is just on finishing the list of things to do before the day ends.
