Being in Greater Kailash Enclave 1 puts us in a busy part of New Delhi, but once you step inside our office at E 17, it’s all about the work. This Ibm India Pvt Ltd location is where a lot of the day-to-day administrative and technical tasks happen. The building isn't new, but it's sturdy and serves us well. We have a lot of computers set up in rows, and the lighting is that typical bright office style. It’s not the kind of place that tries to look cool; it just works. We usually start the day with a quick check of the schedule and then dive into the spreadsheets or code. The area outside is full of shops and people, so there’s always something going on if you look out the window. We try to keep the noise down inside so everyone can focus. Sometimes we have tea brought in, which usually leads to a ten-minute break where we talk about anything but work. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. We don’t have a fancy lobby with a receptionist, just a doorbell and a lot of busy people inside. When the weather is nice, the walk to the main road isn't too bad, but in the summer, we stay glued to the fans. It’s a honest day’s work in a part of town we’ve grown to like.
