I P Pasricha

Our office is at R 12 on Masjid Road in Jangpura Ext, right here in Delhi. It’s a busy little area and we’ve been in this same spot for a good while now. We mostly handle things like taxes, accounting, and all that legal paperwork that people find confusing. I P Pasricha isn't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us sitting around desks piled with folders and files. We don’t have fancy rugs or expensive paintings on the walls. Mostly, it’s just calendars and maps. People come in from the neighborhood when they have problems with their filings or need help with their business books. We try to be helpful and get the numbers straight. Sometimes the office gets a bit stuffy in the summer months because the fan is old, but we get used to it. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the local news between tasks. We don’t do much advertising. Most of our work comes from people telling their friends that we did a decent job for them. It’s a quiet life, really. We open up in the morning, deal with whatever the government is asking for that day, and go home. We aren't trying to be famous or anything. We just want to make sure the records are right and our neighbors can get their work done without too much stress. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy every day.
