I M A Freelancer is located on the J 3 17 A Top Floor in the Khirki Extension of Malviya Nagar, New Delhi. Being on the top floor means there are a lot of stairs to climb, which is a bit of a struggle in the Delhi heat, but the view of the surrounding rooftops is okay once you get up there. Khirki Extension is one of those places where the lanes are narrow and everything feels very close together. The space is small, just enough for a laptop, a decent chair, and a lot of coffee mugs that I forget to wash. It’s quiet up here compared to the street level where the rickshaws are always honking. I don’t have a big team or anything like that, it’s just me doing freelance work and trying to stay on top of my emails. The walls are mostly bare, except for some wires and a small fan that rattles when it's on high speed. It’s not a fancy office by any means, but it gets the job done. Sometimes the internet acts up because of the height or the weather, but that’s just life in this part of town. I spend most of my day right here, watching the sun move across the wall and listening to the city sounds from below. It's a simple life and a simple workspace.
