Holy Family Hospital

The hospital is right on Okhla Road, and if you know the area, you know it gets crowded. We are close to the Escort Heart Institute, so there is always a lot of activity and ambulances passing by. Our building has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. People come in from all over this part of Delhi. Usually, the lobby is full by nine in the morning with folks waiting their turn. We spend a lot of time just managing the daily flow of patients and families. The floors are a bit worn down in places because of all the walking, but we keep them scrubbed. We don't really do much in the way of big announcements or fancy decor. It’s mostly just white walls and metal chairs. The doctors are usually rushing between rooms, and the receptionists spend most of their shift answering the same questions about where the different departments are. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the traffic outside peaks, but you get used to it. We just focus on the basic tasks that need to get done every day. Whether it's restocking supplies or checking in a new patient, there’s always a list of things to finish. It’s a practical place for people who live nearby or are coming from the surrounding areas. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the hospital stays pretty much the same.
