Hdfc

Hdfc is based on the second floor at 3 23 in Bhogal, which is part of the Jangpura Extension area in New Delhi. Being on the second floor means we have to walk up some narrow stairs every morning, which is a good bit of exercise I suppose. The building is older, like many in this part of Delhi 110014. Bhogal is a very crowded and lively market area, so there is always a lot of noise from the street below. Honking cars, people shouting, and the smell of street food are just part of our daily background. Our office isn't very large. We have some desks squeezed in and a lot of cabinets for all the files we keep. It can feel a bit cramped when we have a few people visiting at once, but we make it work. The light coming through the front window is actually quite nice in the winter months. We usually get our tea from a guy who brings it around in a kettle twice a day. It’s a very traditional neighborhood, and we’ve become a fixture here over the years. We don't have fancy branding or a polished reception area. It’s just a working office where we handle business. Sometimes the stairs are a bit of a pain if we are carrying heavy boxes, but we are used to it by now. It’s a gritty, real part of the city to work in, but it’s our home base.
