Defence Colony is a pretty nice area, and our office at C-36 is easy to find because it’s right near the Nirulas. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, though mostly it’s just cars and people walking by. It’s a decent-sized space for Hcl Technologies Ltd, but it’s definitely not one of those massive glass towers you see in the movies. It feels more like an old Delhi building with a lot of character. The elevator is a bit slow, so most of us just take the stairs to the second floor. We’ve got a few different rooms here, and they’re all filled with computers and wires. It can get a bit stuffy when the weather is humid, but we manage. We’re just a group of people trying to keep things running smoothly. There’s no big reception area with a fancy logo, just a door that stays open most of the day. We know the neighbors, and we usually see the same faces at the local shops when we go out for a break. It’s a comfortable place to work, even if the furniture is starting to show its age. We don’t put on any acts here. If someone is stressed, it shows, and if we’re having a good day, everyone knows it. It’s a real workplace with real people just doing their thing in 110024. We just take it one day at a time.
