Down in South Delhi, specifically Chattarpur Enclave, you’ll find Hathisara Fashion. We’re tucked away at House No. D-50 E on the third floor. The Khara number is 299. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road. The area is always under some kind of construction it seems. Our space is mostly dedicated to samples and planning our next batches of clothes. It’s not a shiny showroom. It’s a place where we actually work. Being on the third floor means we get a bit of a breeze in the evenings. We’ve been part of the South Delhi 110074 scene for some time now. We handle fashion stuff, mostly focusing on the production side. It’s a small group of us. We share snacks and complain about the traffic on the way in. It’s a very human way to run a business. We don’t have a mission statement on the wall. We just have a calendar with deadlines. Sometimes we stay late to finish a shipment. The street outside can get pretty muddy when it rains, but we keep the stock clean and dry inside. We are just a regular company trying to make a living in the city. It’s simple work, but it takes a lot of attention to get the details right. We try not to overcomplicate things and just focus on the task right in front of us.
