We are based at B 14 2Nd Floor Geetanjali Enclave New Delhi 110017. Being on the second floor means we see some of the street life below, which is usually pretty busy with people and cars. New Delhi doesn't really slow down much. The building at B 14 is where we spend our working hours. Harpercollins Publishers India has its name on the door here. Inside, it is mostly just us at our desks with piles of paper and some books scattered around on the shelves. Sometimes the elevator in the building is a bit slow to arrive, so we usually just take the stairs instead. It helps us wake up a bit in the morning. The 110017 area is quite central, so it is a convenient spot for the staff to get to. We have a small kitchen corner where we make tea or coffee and sometimes eat our lunch when we aren't too swamped with work. The windows are okay, they let in enough light, but on cloudy days we have to keep all the overhead lights on. We don't have a big reception area or anything flashy. You just walk up to the second floor and find us there. It is a working office through and through. We just focus on getting our daily tasks done and try to keep things organized despite the usual city noise outside. It is a steady place to work for all of us.
