Gulzar Musical Group

We are located in the basement at D-82 in Malviya Nagar. It is not a very big space, but it fits all our equipment and gives us a place to gather. Gulzar Musical Group has been around for some time, mostly doing local events and gatherings. Working out of a basement has its ups and downs. It stays cool in the summer, which is good when we are practicing, but it can get a bit cramped when everyone is here at once. We keep our instruments, speakers, and cables organized as best as we can, though things usually end up in a bit of a mess after a long night of work. Malviya Nagar is a lively place to be based. There is always something going on outside, and we are close to the market if we need to grab a quick snack between sessions. We don't have a fancy storefront or a reception desk. Usually, one of us is just sitting near the entrance checking the schedule or fixing a broken string. We aren't trying to be the biggest group out there. We just enjoy playing and making sure our gear is ready for the next call. It’s hard work moving heavy speakers up and down those stairs, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Sometimes neighbors pop their heads in to see what the noise is about. We just tell them we're practicing for a show and it’s all fine. It is a simple life but we like it.
