Gulfam Sabri

My place is over at 764 Makhan Singh Block in the Asiad Village Complex. It is a quiet enough area most of the time, which is nice for what I do. Being in NDSE means things are fairly central, but the complex itself feels a bit separate from the main road noise. I have been working under the name Gulfam Sabri from this address for quite some time now. Mostly, it is just about the music and the practice sessions that happen within these walls. People who know the area usually find the block without much trouble, though sometimes the numbering in Asiad Village can get a little confusing for visitors. I don't really have a big staff or a corporate setup here. It is more of a personal space where the work happens. Sometimes friends drop by or students come for their sessions. The room is filled with instruments and old papers. It gets a bit cluttered, but I know where everything is. Life here moves at its own pace. I usually start the day with some tea and then get straight to the instruments. It’s a simple way to live and work. There is no big sign outside or anything like that. If you are looking for me, you just find the door and knock. That is how we have always done it. It works for us and for the people who come by to learn or listen. We keep it very low key and just focus on the sound.
