Modwear Exports

Modwear Exports is based at 1613/14 in Govindpuri, right near Kalkaji. It’s a very busy part of the city. The streets are narrow and there’s always someone moving something. Our building is usually full of fabric rolls and the sound of machines. We do export work, so we are often busy getting orders ready for shipping. It’s not a quiet place. There are stacks of boxes everywhere and people are always running around. We started out with just a few machines and slowly added more over the years. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see what we do, they usually just walk through the work area. Govindpuri is a tough place to navigate if you aren't used to it, but it’s got a lot of energy. We’ve been here for a long time and know the rhythms of the street. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just life here. We don't spend much on advertising because we’re too busy with the actual manufacturing. It’s hard work and the days are long, but we’re proud of what we send out. We’re just a bunch of people who know how to work with textiles. It’s a messy, loud, and productive place to be. We just keep our heads down and get the orders out on time. That’s pretty much how we spend our weeks.
