Our unit is over at T-28 in Phase-II of the Okhla Industrial Area. It’s a very busy part of town, always full of trucks and people moving crates around. Being in an industrial area means it’s not really a place for window shopping. We spend our time inside the warehouse space, dealing with large batches of clothes and boxes. The floors are concrete and can get pretty cold in the winter. Most of the day is spent checking labels, packing things into cartons, and making sure the counts are right. It’s repetitive work, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it over the years. We have a small area where we keep our bags and eat our food during the break. The noise from the machines next door is pretty loud, so we usually have to raise our voices a bit to be heard. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting and shifting things from one side of the room to the other. We don't have any polished reception area or anything like that. It’s just a functional space where we show up and do what needs to be done. By the end of the day, we’re usually covered in a bit of lint and ready to head home. It’s a straightforward operation here in Okhla, nothing fancy, just a lot of effort to keep things moving out the door on time and in good shape.
