Global Concept Designs

S-48 in Greater Kailash-1 is where we spend most of our daylight hours. Global Concept Designs isn't a massive place, but it's where all the sketches and planning for our projects happen. Living and working around GK-1 means dealing with the constant struggle for parking, which is usually the first thing we talk about when we walk in the door every morning. Inside, the office feels lived-in. There are books on design scattered on the shelves and a few plants that we occasionally remember to water. We started out small and stayed that way on purpose because it’s easier to talk to each other across the room than to send emails all day. Most of the time, we’re just trying to figure out how to make a concept work in the real world without it becoming too complicated. It’s a lot of trial and error. We don't have any fancy receptionists or a lobby that smells like expensive perfume. It's just a functional workspace where we can focus. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we all take a break at the same time, which is usually when the best ideas actually come up anyway. We’ve been in this building for a while now, and the neighbors know us as the people who stay late with the lights on. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our routine and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it.
