Our office is on the first floor at 198/4 in Ramesh Market, which is in the Garhi area of East of Kailash. New Delhi is always loud and fast, and this market is no different. You have to walk up some narrow stairs to find us, but once you’re inside, it’s a bit quieter than the street below. We work on career stuff, which means we spend a lot of time looking at resumes and talking to people on the phone. The desks are a bit old and the printer sometimes jams when we are in a hurry, but we make it work. We get a lot of people coming in from different parts of the city looking for job advice or new opportunities. The tea man from the corner comes by a few times a day with hot chai, which is a nice break from all the paperwork. We keep our files in big metal cabinets that are starting to show their age. It’s not a polished corporate office with a big reception; it’s just a practical space where we do our daily recruitment tasks. The windows look out onto the market, so we see all the shoppers and rickshaws passing by. East of Kailash is a central spot, so it’s easy for folks to reach us. We just sit here, answer the phones, and try to match people with whatever work is available. It’s a straightforward job that keeps us busy from morning to evening.
