Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd

Our office is up on the 4th floor, EF 20 in A F Enclave, Jamia Nagar. Being in New Delhi, specifically this part of town, means things are always crowded and moving fast. We work on power infrastructure stuff. Since we’re on the 4th floor, we get a bit of a view of the area, though it’s mostly just other rooftops and messy cables. It’s a functional space. We don't have any expensive art on the walls or leather sofas or anything like that. Just desks, computers, and people trying to solve infrastructure problems. The elevator can be a bit temperamental, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like, which is good exercise I guess. We’ve been here in Jamia Nagar for some time. We deal with a lot of technical details and planning. It’s the kind of work that doesn’t get noticed until something goes wrong, so we try to do it right. We don’t use a lot of big corporate slogans or mission statements. We just talk like regular people do. We have our lunch together most days and usually complain about the traffic on the way in. It’s a decent group of people working here. We’re just trying to get the job done and keep things running, literally and figuratively. That’s our daily routine. We aren't looking to change the world, just doing the work that needs doing in the power sector. It’s a lot of files and phone calls but we like it well enough.
