Our office is on the ground floor of F 41A in the Abul Fazal Enclave. This is in the Okhla area of New Delhi. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of traffic and people moving around at all hours. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to drop by, and they often do. We have some old wooden desks and a few cabinets for all the insurance papers. It is a lot of paperwork to keep track of, and sometimes the files get a bit messy. We spend our days talking to people about their needs and filling out forms. It’s not the most exciting work, but it is important to the folks who live nearby. The office has a bit of a lived-in feel to it. There is usually a half-empty cup of tea sitting somewhere and a stack of newspapers from the morning. We don't have any big corporate signs or fancy lighting. We just have a few fans to keep the air moving and some bright lights so we can read the small print on the documents. The street outside is always noisy with cars and bikes, but we are used to it by now. We try to be helpful when someone comes in with a problem, even if it takes a while to sort through the records. It is a steady place to work and we just focus on doing things the right way without making a fuss about it.
