If you head over to Jamia Nagar in New Delhi, you’ll find us on the fourth floor of building A 17 in Okhla Vihar. We are Futech Consultants Pvt Ltd, and this floor has been our home base for quite some time now. Being up on the fourth floor means we have to climb a few stairs, which keeps us awake in the mornings, though sometimes we wish for an elevator when we are carrying heavy files. The office space is simple and functional. We have windows that look out over the rest of Okhla Vihar, which gives us a nice view of the rooftops and the busy streets below. It is a typical consultancy environment with people typing away and a lot of discussion happening over cups of tea. We don’t really go in for the fancy office decor you see in the big business districts; we prefer a space that feels lived-in and practical. The vibe here is mostly just focused and quiet, though things pick up when we have deadlines approaching. We chose this spot in Jamia Nagar because it’s a central location for the people who work with us. Every day is pretty much the same routine of checking emails, looking over project plans, and making sure everything is on track. It’s a solid place to work and we’ve gotten to know the other people in the building over the years. It's just how we like it, no distractions and plenty of work to do.
