Freelancer

My base is at C 547 in Chittaranjan Park, or CR Park as most people call it. It’s a famous neighborhood in New Delhi, known for its markets and the specific culture here. Working as a freelancer from this house means I’m never far from a good snack or a cup of coffee when I need a break from the screen. I’ve lived in this area for a long time, so setting up my workspace here felt natural. The room I work in is nothing special. It’s got my computer, some notebooks scattered around, and a lot of pens that usually don’t work. I don’t have a boss or a team; I just handle everything that comes my way by myself. The morning usually starts with me trying to figure out which task is the most urgent. CR Park is quite a lively place, especially in the evenings, so I try to get most of my heavy lifting done before the markets get too crowded and the noise picks up. I don't use any fancy systems to manage my day, just a simple list on a piece of paper. It’s a very grounded way of working. No corporate meetings, no dressing up, just me and my work. It’s been a few years now, and I’ve grown fond of this routine. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but it’s my way of doing things and it works well for my life.
