Freelancer

You can find me at 32E Ashoka Avenue in Sainik Farms. It’s a bit of a greener, quieter part of New Delhi, which is exactly why I like working from here. The atmosphere is much calmer than the rest of the city, and that helps me keep my head straight when I have a lot on my plate. I’ve been operating as a freelancer from this address for a good while now. My setup is pretty basic—just a desk, a sturdy chair, and my computer. I don’t see the point in having a fancy office when most of my clients are people I only ever talk to over the internet anyway. Living and working in Sainik Farms means I don’t have to deal with the usual Delhi noise as much. I usually start my day with a quick walk outside before sitting down to tackle my emails. The work varies quite a bit, but it’s mostly stuff that keeps me glued to the screen for hours. I don’t have a big philosophy or a grand plan; I just take the work as it comes and try to do a decent job of it. Sometimes I miss the social side of an office, but the peace and quiet here usually make up for it. It’s a steady routine that works for me, and I’m quite content with how things are going in this little corner of the world. It feels like a real, honest way to make a living.
