Free Lancer

This is where I work from, on the second floor of E 12/78. It is right across from Bilal Masjid in Hauz Rani. It’s a tight area with lots of narrow lanes, but it’s got a lot of life. Being a freelancer means I do a bit of everything. My space is just a desk, a laptop, and some books. It isn't a big agency with a receptionist. When you call, you're just talking to me. I handle projects for different clients who need help with various tasks. Sometimes I'm working late into the night when the neighborhood finally gets quiet. Malviya Nagar is a good spot to be in because everything is close by. I've lived and worked around here for years. It’s not always easy being on your own, but I prefer it. I don't have any big slogans or a fancy logo. I just take on work as it comes and try to do a decent job of it. Sometimes the internet acts up, which is a pain, but that's life in Delhi. If you are looking for the place, just look for the mosque and you are basically there. It’s a simple setup for simple work. I don't need much else. I spend most of my day right here in this room, drinking tea and getting things finished. It's my own small corner of the world. I like the independence it gives me, even if it means doing all the boring paperwork myself too. There is always something new to learn.
