If you come by M-59 in Lajpat Nagar 2, you’ll find us surrounded by buckets of water and stems. The shop always smells like cut greens and wet floor. We spend our mornings getting fresh flowers and then the rest of the day is spent trimming them and putting them together. We aren't a big chain or anything. It’s just a few of us here. Our hands are usually a bit stained from the plants and we always have scissors nearby. We do flowers for all sorts of reasons, birthdays, weddings, or just because someone wants a bunch on their table. We don't have a fancy website with professional photos. We just show what we have in the buckets that day. Sometimes a shipment doesn't arrive or the roses aren't looking great, so we have to use something else. That’s just how it is with living things. Lajpat Nagar is a busy place and we get a lot of people walking in just to see what’s fresh. We like the neighborhood feel of Part-2. We’ve been in this spot for a while and know many of the regulars who pass by. We just try to keep the flowers fresh and the shop tidy, even though it’s hard with all the leaves and water everywhere. It’s a nice way to spend the day, even if our backs ache a bit from standing. We just take it one bouquet at a time.
