Flamingo-Apparels

You can find us over in Lado Sarai, tucked away in the Dharampal Building. It's on the third floor at F-301, so there are some stairs to climb. Ch. Prem Singh Lane is usually pretty crowded with bikes and people walking. We've been operating Flamingo-Apparels from this spot for some time now. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms filled with machines and clothes. The light is okay during the day, which helps with the stitching work. We aren't doing any big advertising or anything like that. We mostly just focus on the garments right in front of us. Some days are quieter than others, but there's always something to fix or fold. The neighborhood has a lot of energy, and we're just one small part of it. We drink a lot of tea while we work. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. If you come by, you'll probably see us middle of a pile of fabric or checking tags. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We like being in New Delhi, even with the noise and the heat. The building is old but it works for what we need. We just try to get the shirts and pants done right. We’ve known the neighbors for years. It’s just a regular day-to-day life for us here at the workshop. We don't try to impress anyone with fancy talk, we just keep the machines running and the floor clean.
