Fashion Club Global

Our place is at 289, Chatterpur Pahari, right near the Dhan Mill. If you know the area, you know it's a bit of a maze sometimes. Fashion Club Global is where we spend most of our waking hours. It's a crowded spot, but we like the energy of the neighborhood. There's always something going on outside our doors. We do clothing. It’s not always pretty behind the scenes. There are rolls of fabric everywhere and thread ends on the floor. We try to keep things organized, but when we have a big order, the tables get covered pretty quickly. We aren't a huge corporate chain. We’re just a team working out of this space in Chatterpur. Some of us have been here since the start, and we’ve seen the area change quite a bit. The Dhan Mill landmark helps people find us, which is good because the narrow streets can be confusing for drivers. We have a lot of tea breaks together to talk about the day's tasks. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s ours. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. Just the staff and the machines. We focus on getting the sewing right and making sure the pieces look okay before they leave the building. It’s just honest work in a busy part of town. Sometimes the power goes out, or the rain makes the road messy, but we just keep moving along. The neighbors are loud, but we are used to it.
