Family Clinic

If you go down Street No-22 in Zakir Nagar, you’ll find us at number 12 A. This is the Okhla Gaon area, so the lanes are narrow and there’s always someone moving something or kids playing near the doorstep. Family Clinic is just a small local spot where we see patients from the neighborhood. It’s not a big corporate office. We’ve got a couple of rooms and a small desk where we keep all the records on paper. Most of the time, the air smells like the food from the nearby shops, which isn't so bad. We started this clinic because Zakir Nagar is so packed and people shouldn't have to travel far just for a basic checkup or a fever. It gets a bit cramped when three or four families show up at once, but we manage to fit everyone in eventually. The lights in the hallway flicker sometimes, and the chairs are just basic plastic ones we bought a few years back. We don't have a fancy website or a receptionist with a headset. Usually, it's just one of us calling out the next name when the doctor is ready. We know the families around here, we know who has been sick lately, and we just provide a place where they can come without feeling intimidated by a big hospital environment. It’s a humble setup, but it serves the purpose for everyone living around Street 22 and the Okhla side of the city. We just do our best to help our neighbors out.
