We work out of Okhla Industrial Estate Phase III. The area is full of factories and warehouses, so it can be quite noisy and dusty outside most of the time. Our office is in the C-103 building. Most of our work is about putting together large trade exhibitions that happen throughout the year. This involves a lot of back-and-forth emails with different companies and various government offices. We have been in this spot for a long time and the neighborhood hasn't changed much. The office is filled with old show directories and boxes of lanyards from past years. It’s a very hands-on environment here. One minute we are talking about floor plans and the next we are checking if the freight forwarders have the right addresses for the crates. There is a small tea stall nearby where we go when we need a break from the computer screens. The traffic in Okhla is always a bit of a mess, especially when the big trucks are moving in the late afternoon. Inside, it’s just rows of desks and people on their headsets. We don't spend much time on decorations; we just need enough space for our files and the big printers. It gets really busy during the winter months because that's when most of the big shows happen. We just keep our heads down and try to get the logistics right for everyone involved in the events. It is a long day but we get through it.
