Event Studio

Event Studio is located at K-6 in Kotla Mubarakpur, right in the Punjabi Bazar area. This part of Delhi is really narrow and always packed with people and rickshaws. It has a very specific feel to it. Our studio is right in the middle of all that noise. We’ve been here for a while and have gotten used to the constant sound of the market. It’s a small space but we make it work for everything we need to do. Most of our time is spent planning and getting things ready for various projects. We don't have a big fancy entrance. You just walk in from the street. The Punjabi Bazar is famous for all sorts of things, so there is always something interesting happening outside our door. We deal with the local vendors and know where to find whatever we might need at the last minute. It’s a practical way to run things. Sometimes the heat is unbearable and the traffic makes it hard to move gear, but we find a way. We are just a small group of people working hard in a busy neighborhood. We don’t go for anything too polished. It’s about getting the task done despite the chaos of the city. We like the energy of Kotla. It keeps us moving. Sometimes we have to carry boxes through the narrow lanes when the delivery truck can't get close. It’s a bit of a workout. But that is the reality of working in Kotla Mubarakpur. We just keep our heads down and do what we need to do every day.
