You can find us at M 8 in South Extension II, right in the heart of New Delhi. Being in 110049 means it's always crowded outside, but once you step inside the office, things calm down a bit. We are one of the Ernst Young India branches working on all sorts of financial tasks. The office is full of computers and printers that never seem to stop humming. Most of us have been working here for a few years, so we’ve gotten used to the noise from the street. It’s a practical workspace, nothing too fancy or modern. We have our meetings in a small room at the back. We handle a lot of paperwork for different companies, making sure everything is filed correctly and on time. It gets pretty hectic around the end of the financial year, and we usually end up staying late and ordering food. The stairs in the building are a bit narrow, so we try not to carry too many heavy boxes at once. We know the local tea sellers and the guards around here pretty well. It’s a busy life in South Ex, but we like being in the middle of everything. We aren't here to impress anyone with decor; we just focus on the audits and tax reports. It’s a regular job with regular people who just happen to be good with numbers. If you’re nearby, you’ll probably see us heading out for a quick tea break.
