Emporium Steels

Emporium Steels is located up on the first floor of Srivastava Market, right near Ajmeri Gate. If you know the area, you probably know where the Tanga Stand is, because we are directly opposite that. It’s a lively spot to work in, that’s for sure. There is always a lot of noise coming up from the street, and the market itself stays pretty packed from morning until we close up for the night. We’ve been at 453/61 for a long time. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step when you’re coming to see us. Dealing with steel isn’t exactly a clean or quiet job, but we’ve got a system that works for the space we have. It’s mostly just us handling orders and making sure things get where they need to go. We don't have a big reception area or fancy furniture. Usually, there are just stacks of papers and some samples sitting around the desks. It’s a practical setup because we spend most of our time talking to people or checking on stock. Being near the gate means we see everyone coming and going. It’s a good place to be if you want to be in the middle of the action. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes in. That’s how we’ve always done it here in the market.
