We are over at 87-B Pocket - C in Siddhartha Extn. The name Future Food Alliances & Innovations sounds a bit formal, but we are really just a small group working out of a quiet residential pocket. We spend our time thinking about different ways to package or mix food products. Our office is tucked away, so it’s not like a big factory or anything. We have some desks, a lot of samples, and stacks of paper where we write down our ideas. Sometimes we are testing things out and the whole place smells like spices or grains. It’s a lot of trial and error here. We deal with different suppliers and try to figure out what works for small businesses. Siddhartha Extn is a nice place to work because it’s not as loud as the main markets. We don't have a lot of employees, so everyone does a bit of everything, from answering the door to sorting through the mail. It’s a slow process sometimes, coming up with new things, and we don't always get it right on the first try. We just keep at it every day. Most of our neighbors probably don't even know what we do inside here. It’s a humble setup, but we stay busy with our projects and keep the coffee pot going.
