Drb Foods Pvt. Ltd. operates out of the DDA Sheds in Okhla Phase I. If you know the area, you know C-80 isn't the easiest place to find the first time, tucked away among all the other small factories and warehouses. It’s an industrial neighborhood through and through. The building is one of those standard gray structures that’s seen better days, but inside it’s a different story. We deal with food products, so keeping things tidy is our main priority. The noise from the nearby units is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. We have a small team here, mostly local guys who’ve been working in the food industry for a bit. Our days start early when the first shipments arrive. There's a lot of weighing, packing, and labeling involved. It’s repetitive work, but we try to keep things lively with the radio playing in the background. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is usually the highlight for everyone. We aren't a massive corporation with glass walls and carpets. It’s just concrete floors and metal tables here. We do our best to stay organized despite the cramped quarters of the sheds. Shipping out of Okhla can be a nightmare with the traffic, so we spend a lot of time looking at clocks and checking with drivers. It's just a regular workplace doing its thing every day. We don't have much to say beyond that really.
