Diwakar Exports

You can find us over at Diwakar Exports on the first floor of Q-10 in Srinivaspuri. It’s a private colony, so it stays relatively quiet around here, which helps when we're trying to focus. We’ve been set up in this space for a good bit. The stairs up to the office are a little steep, so we tell people to watch their step. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, a couple of old fans, and plenty of samples lying around. We do export work, mostly keeping track of what’s going out and making sure the labels are right. It’s not a huge operation. We know the neighbors, and they know us. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just take a break until it comes back. The paperwork can be a real headache sometimes, especially with all the rules that keep changing, but we manage. We aren’t interested in looking like a big fancy corporation. We prefer things simple. Most of the day is spent checking on orders or talking to the guys who do the hauling. We’ve got a small kettle for making coffee when it gets cold in the winter. It’s a lived-in space. There are stains on the desks and the floorboards creak a bit, but it’s our spot. We’ve been working out of Srinivaspuri long enough that the postman doesn't even have to look at the address anymore.
