We are based at C-17 in Friends Colony East. It’s a bit different from the usual industrial blocks because it feels a little more like a regular neighborhood around here. Our office is a straightforward place where we handle the daily business of Devats India. We don't have a massive warehouse attached to this spot, so it’s mostly about the administrative side of things. We spend a lot of time on the phones and staring at computer screens. The rooms are filled with files and the usual office furniture that’s seen better days. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, especially when we have boxes of samples arriving. We usually have the windows open when the weather is nice, though the noise from the street can be a bit much sometimes. Our routine is pretty fixed—get in, check the mail, handle the queries, and try to get through the pile of documents on the desk. There’s no big corporate canteen, so we usually just order something from the local shops or bring tiffins from home. It’s a quiet kind of busy. We don't put on a show for anyone; we just focus on getting the day's tasks finished so we can head home on time. It is a small team, and we all end up doing a bit of everything to keep things moving. We like it that way. It keeps the days from getting too boring and repetitive for us. This is just how we operate day in and day out.
