Deloitte Haskins Sells

Our office is on the third floor of a building in Lajpat Nagar 2, right near the MCD Hospital. Being in this part of New Delhi means there is never a quiet moment outside. We are Deloitte Haskins Sells, and we have been handling the accounting needs of various clients from this location for quite some time. The stairs up to the third floor are a bit steep. It gives us a nice view of the street below, though. Inside, the office is filled with the hum of the air conditioner and the steady sound of people working. We have rows of desks with old monitors and plenty of staplers and paperclips scattered around. There isn’t much in the way of style here. It’s all about function. We spend our days verifying figures and making sure the financial reports are accurate. If someone walks in, they’ll see a group of people who are mostly focused on their screens. We don’t use any marketing tricks or fancy language to describe what we do. We are just accountants and auditors who know how to get through a pile of work. Lunch is usually a quick affair, often something brought from home or picked up from a nearby vendor. By the time we leave in the evening, the market outside is in full swing, and we just blend into the crowd heading home. It’s a simple, hardworking life in a very busy part of the city. We keep the books straight and the files organized.
