Our office is in the Okhla Industrial Estate, specifically Phase III, at 217 B on the second floor. Okhla is a tough place to work sometimes because of all the traffic and the sheer number of people in the industrial area. If you come here by car, finding a spot to park is always a bit of a gamble. The building is just a standard industrial block. Inside, the second floor is where we do all the planning for the exhibition. It’s usually a bit chaotic, with floor plans taped to the walls and binders full of exhibitor information scattered around. We spend most of our time on the phone or on the computer, coordinating with people in Bangalore. It gets quite busy as the event dates get closer, and sometimes we stay late just to finish the lists. We don’t have any fancy office furniture, just what we need to get the job done. The walls are a bit plain, and the lighting is just standard office fluorescent. There’s usually a lot of tea being drunk to keep us going through the afternoon. It’s a very practical, hardworking environment. People from the other units in the building are always passing by in the hallway. It’s just a normal part of the Okhla life. We aren't here to impress anyone with the space; we’re just here to work and make sure everything is ready.
