Operating out of Flat 48 in Kailash Kunj Apartments feels more like a home than a workplace. That's probably because it is an apartment building in Greater Kailash 1. Being in GK1 is nice because the neighborhood is green and mostly well-kept. Our space is on one of the upper floors. We moved here because we wanted a place that didn't feel like a cold, gray office building. We have a small kitchen where we make way too much tea. The sun comes through the windows in the afternoon and makes the whole place feel bright. It’s a good change from our old spot. We don’t have a big team. It’s just a handful of us who have known each other for a long time. We talk about our weekends and our kids while we work. It’s a relaxed atmosphere. We don't have those fancy slogans on the wall. We just have some calendars and maybe a few old posters. People in the building know us as the quiet group in number 48. We try not to make too much noise because it is a residential area after all. Parking can be a bit of a headache for guests, but we’ve learned the tricks of where to find a spot. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation in South Delhi. We like it this way. No drama, just work. Sometimes the elevator breaks down and we have to use the stairs, which is quite a workout since we are not on the ground floor. It keeps us moving though.
