Classic Fashions

Classic Fashions is tucked away at F-59/9 in the Okhla Industrial Area Phase-I. It is a bit of a maze back here if you aren’t used to the numbering system in this part of town. Our space is mostly taken up by fabric rolls and sewing machines that never seem to stay quiet for long. It gets quite warm in the summers, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving while the staff works on the latest batches. We aren’t a giant corporation with a lobby; you pretty much walk right into where the work is happening. Most days are spent looking at samples and checking for loose threads. We have been at this address for some time now, and the neighbors know us as the people who are always loading or unloading something from a small truck out front. Sometimes we run out of space for all the patterns, so things get a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. It’s just a normal workplace with people trying to get orders finished on time. The tea shop around the corner is where most of us end up during the break. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations because the clothes take up all the room anyway. It’s just a straightforward operation here in the heart of the industrial belt, doing what we know how to do without much fuss. The rhythm of the machines becomes background noise after a while, and that is just how we like it.
