C-Dial

You’ll find C-Dial on the second floor of 307 Sant Nagar. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Sant Nagar is a very lively part of New Delhi, and there’s always something going on outside our windows. We’re just a small team here. Most of our day is spent on the phone, which explains the name. We talk to people from all over. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do to earn a living. The office is a bit cramped because we have so many files and some old equipment lying around. We probably should clear some of it out, but we never seem to find the time to get to it. We aren't some big corporate call center with hundreds of people. We’re just a local business trying to stay afloat. We don't have a fancy break room or anything like that. We usually just eat at our desks or go downstairs for a quick bite at one of the shops. We try to be helpful when people call in with questions. Sometimes we can help right away, and other times it takes a few tries to get it right. We don't pretend to have all the answers. We just do our best with what we have. It’s been our routine for a long time now.
