Bikon Water Treatment Pvt. Ltd. is up on the second floor of D-34 in Lajpat Nagar-Iv. Being in the Old Double Storey area means there's always something happening outside. New Delhi is a loud city, and this part of town is no different. We spend our days thinking about water treatment. It’s important work, even if it’s just us in a smallish office. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow. We’ve been here in 110024 for a good stretch of time. You get used to the sounds of the neighborhood after a while. Most of the time, we are looking at filter designs or talking to people about their water issues. It isn't a glamorous setup. There are papers everywhere and a few water samples sitting on the desks. We drink a lot of tea while we work. It helps during the long afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out. It’s part of living and working in Delhi. We don't have a big marketing team. It’s just us doing the job. If you come by, you might hear the traffic from the street below. We try to keep the place tidy, but it's a working office. People from all over the area know where D-34 is. We are just a group of people trying to make the water better. No big speeches or anything like that.
