We have our office at Number 106 in Ideal House, which is Building 69 in Nehru Place. Being right near the Microsoft Building means there is always a lot of energy and people around. Nehru Place is a chaotic spot, filled with tech shops and street vendors, so getting to the office every morning feels like a bit of a mission. Once you’re inside Ideal House, things get a little quieter, though you can still hear the muffled sounds of the city through the glass. Our office is fairly small, with just enough room for a few desks and some chairs for visitors. We have maps pinned to the walls and stacks of property documents taking up most of the shelf space. It’s not a glamorous setup, but it’s where we do all our planning and phone calls. We spend a lot of time talking to people about various plots and buildings, often while drinking tea from the vendor downstairs. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup generator to kick in, which gives us a few minutes of forced break. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, with new buildings going up and old ones getting renovated. We just stay focused on our own little corner of the building, keeping track of the local market and making sure our records are up to date for whoever walks in.
