Batra Hospital

Batra Hospital is located right on M B Road. If you’ve ever driven down M B Road, you know how much traffic there is. It’s one of those main arteries where things never really stop moving. The hospital is a big landmark around here. We’ve got people coming in from all over the south part of the city. It’s a lot different than a small street clinic. There is always someone at the entrance and the lobby is usually full of people waiting. We try to keep things moving, but with so many people, it’s a big job. The building has been here for a long time and you can tell in some spots where the paint is a bit old or the floors are worn down from so many feet walking on them. We don't have a lot of time for fancy talk. We just focus on getting people to the right department. The noise from M B Road is always there in the background, like a constant hum of engines and horns. It’s a very busy environment to work in. We see all kinds of situations every day. It’s hard work and the shifts can be long, but it’s what we do. We aren't trying to be a five-star hotel; we are just a hospital trying to handle the crowd that comes through the doors every morning and keeping things running until the night.
