Batra Hospital

This part of Batra Hospital is located in the New Block. We are specifically at the Retail Pharmacy-2 on the 1st floor. It’s right in the middle of the Tughlakabad Industrial Area. Because it’s an industrial zone, there are always trucks moving around and a lot of workers in the streets. It’s a busy, dusty place most of the time. Our pharmacy is where people come to get their prescriptions filled after they see the doctors in the hospital. We stay pretty busy keeping the shelves stocked. It’s not a quiet place to work. You hear the hospital announcements and the sound of people moving through the hallways all day long. We try to be quick because nobody wants to wait around a hospital longer than they have to. We don't have fancy displays or sell candy and magazines like some of those big chain stores. We just have the medicine people need. Sometimes we run out of something and have to order it in, but we try to keep the basics ready. The staff here is used to the fast pace. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work. It’s a practical setup meant for a busy area. We are here every day, making sure the bottles are labeled and the orders are right for everyone coming through from the local factories and shops.
