Batra Hospital & Medical Research Centre

Batra Hospital & Medical Research Centre is situated at 1, Tughlakabad Institutional Area. We are right on the Mehrauli Badarpur Road, or what most people just call MB Road. This part of Delhi is always moving. The institutional area has a lot of different buildings, but our place is quite easy to find. It is a big hospital with a research center attached to it. We see a lot of different people every single day. Some are here for check-ups, others are here for more serious things. The MB Road outside is usually packed with buses and cars, especially during the peak hours. It can be a bit of a struggle to get in and out of the gate sometimes. Inside, the hospital is a world of its own. It is busy and sometimes loud with the sound of people talking in the corridors. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age in a comfortable, used way. It is not like those brand new hospitals that feel like hotels. This is a place where actual work happens. The staff knows the shortcuts through the hallways. We just focus on the patients and the research tasks we have in front of us. There is no fancy mission statement on the wall, just people doing their jobs. Being in the Tughlakabad area gives us a lot of space, which is good because we need it for everything we do.
