We are located on the second floor of D-67 in Masjid Moth, over in South Extension II. It’s a busy part of New Delhi, and being on the second floor means we get a little bit away from the street noise, though not entirely. The office is a straightforward place for the bank’s work. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a lot of decorations. It’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of binders. We spend our days going through transactions and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a small team here, so we all know each other well. We don't have a professional cleaning crew coming in every hour, so it looks like a real office where people actually work. There are stacks of paper here and there. We don't use any corporate jargon when we talk to each other or anyone else. We just explain things as they are. The area has some good food spots nearby, so lunch is usually the highlight of the day. We aren't trying to be the most impressive bank branch in India. We just want to do our jobs well and go home to our families at the end of the shift. It’s a decent place to spend forty hours a week. We keep the air conditioning running and keep our heads down. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living.
