Awatika Enterprises

Awatika Enterprises is located right inside Meethapur Mandi. If you’ve been to the mandi, you know it’s a place that never really sleeps. There’s always trucks unloading or people haggling over prices. We fit right into that chaos. We handle various goods, mostly things that come through the market channels. Our office is small and filled with papers and samples. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come to see us, you’ll likely find us on the phone or checking the latest arrivals. We’ve been operating out of this spot for years. The floor is a bit uneven and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We don’t see the point in spending money on fancy furniture when the work happens out in the stalls and on the loading docks. We deal with a lot of different people—farmers, transporters, and other traders. It’s a tough environment sometimes, especially when the market is slow or the weather is bad. But we’ve built up a lot of good relationships over time. We don’t use any marketing tricks. We just tell people what we have and what the price is. It’s honest and direct. That’s the only way to survive in a place like Meethapur Mandi. We just keep doing what we do every day without much fuss. It is a busy life but we enjoy it.
