Ashoka Computer Repairs

Working in Nehru Place Main Market is always a bit chaotic. Our shop at 113-A is right in the middle of all that noise and movement. Most of the day is spent with a screwdriver in hand, looking at motherboards or trying to figure out why a laptop won't turn on. It’s a small space, mostly filled with spare parts, old monitors, and tangles of wires. Sometimes the market gets so loud you can’t hear the person standing right across the counter. We’ve been at this spot for quite some years now. People bring in all sorts of machines, some very old and some brand new ones they accidentally spilled coffee on. It gets pretty cramped when there are three or four customers waiting. We try to get through the pile of repairs as fast as we can, but some things just take time to fix. There’s always dust flying around here, so we spend a lot of time cleaning screens and fans. Lunch is usually just a quick bite from the stalls outside while we keep working. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. The street outside is always full of people looking for deals. We just stay inside our little shop and focus on the hardware. It's a busy life here in the market, but we like being right where the action is. Sometimes we stay late when a job is tricky, just to get it finished for the customer.
